ATLANTA, Ga. — No. 16 Georgia Tech did what top 25 teams are supposed to do undermanned and overwhelmed opponents — throttle them.
The Jackets did so to the tune of 69-6. It was the second most points scored in the Georgia Tech modern era, and the kind of start to a season that Tech fans craved after watching the team sputter in its opener last year against Wofford and almost drop one to Georgia Southern two games later.
Up next is the Tulane Green Wave which will probably present Tech with a little bit stiffer challenge ahead of the September 19 showdown in South Bend, Ind. against No. 11 Notre Dame.
But before we move on, here’s one last look at some of our best captured sights from Georgia Tech’s 2015 opener, taken by thecrescentbuzz.com photographer Jason Mussell. Check back with us Friday for our Georgia Tech-Tulane preview.
