MORROW, Ga. — The Morrow Mustangs saw five student-athletes ink college scholarship offers Wednesday during the Spring National Signing Day period.

Mustangs track and cross country standout Courtland White (Troy University), girls basketball player Ashley World (Chattahoocie Valley Community College), softball infielder Erika Dargan (Benedict) and football players Kennon Davis (Webber International) and Quiyamah Girad (Fort Valley State) all participated in Morrow’s Signing Day ceremonies in the school’s media center.

Dargan is the first Lady Mustangs softball player to sign a scholarship offer while still enrolled at the school in coach Candice Jones’ 10-year tenure.

Meanwhile, Girad and Davis’ signings give coach Larry Foster eight total football players signed for the 2014-15 class.
